INVENTORY AND SURGICAL ASSOCIATE

Bachelor’s degree
2+ years previous work experience strongly preferred

Ability to work in a high stress operating room environment
Able to build trusting and long-lasting relationships
Overnight travel requirements: 10%
Daily travel requirements: 40% (vehicle and fuel provided)
What you will do as an Inventory and Surgical Associate
In this role, you will build joint replacement surgical experience through a progression of responsibilities. You will start in the office/warehouse managing inventory and learning in a non-operating room setting by running inventory from location to location and putting together instrumentation sets/trays. You will partner with sales representative to learn the basics of orthopedics and build your functional knowledge. Following your 101 and 201 training (anatomy, implants, and instrumentation), you will start to observe operating room cases, move to assisting in cases, and then cover cases with your surgeon solo. As surgical knowledge progresses, responsibility and opportunity grows. The success of the surgeon partnership will depend on your strong communication skills and work ethic.
